I'm taking on the Purple Wave challenge to support students here at The University of Manchester!

AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 10k 2025 · 18 May 2025 ·
Over the last few years, the cost of being a student has skyrocketed. The cost-of-living crisis hasn’t gone away; it’s been accepted as the new norm. But the number of students under increased financial pressure is not sustainable.
When students are worried about making ends meet, there’s no way they can perform at their best. And they can’t take part in those all-important social experiences which define the university experience.
Over the past year, more than 1,000 students applied for donor-funded hardship grants – more than ever before. And there’s no doubt that demand will continue to be incredibly high throughout 2025. It’s so important that every student who needs help can receive it.
That's why I'm taking on the Purple Wave challenge, to make sure The University of Manchester remains a place where the best and brightest can thrive – no matter their circumstances.
I only started running last year and this will be the furthest I've ever run, so your support is really appreciated to help spur me on and to raise money to support Manchester's students!
Thank you!
