Brain Tumour Support is dedicated to providing support for patients, families and carers so that no one feels alone facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. We provide individualised and specialist information, guidance and emotional support, at any point and for as long as it is needed.

Story

On Sunday 5th May, Nick and I will be plodding 13.1 miles around the Birmingham Half Marathon to raise money for Brain Tumour Support.

A charity that provide support to anyone affected at any time by brain tumour, patients, families and carers alike.

As a family we were first affected by brain tumour when we lost our beautiful niece Charlotte to stage 4 Gliboblastoma at the tender age of 21. Never did you think we would have to face this fight again, sadly in December 2023 another member of our immediate family was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Devastated doesn’t begin to describe how we all feel, but without people like Brain Tumour Support the fight would be so much more difficult. They have been there to listen, provide counselling and support and are pretty much on the end of a text, email, phone or zoom call.

Brain Tumour Support have allowed me to realise everything we all feel is normal and as a family they are holding are hands along the way. This level of support is priceless.

Please help raise money so they can keep providing this for other families affected by Brain Tumour.

Thank you Debbie, Nick and all our family xx
