Story
This hike is in memory of my brother in law Philip, who many of you will already know, was diagnosed with cancer back in April and was given the devastating news that he only had a few weeks left as the prostate cancer was already stage 4 and incurable. I’m raising the money because it’s something I can do, but a 10km walk in October when it is likely to be colder is more of a challenge for me. If you know me well you will know that I don’t like the cold much! This is the least I can do to try and raise a few pennies for the tireless work that is carried out every day at Sue Ryder and I would like to try to ensure that other families may have the benefit of having the support from Sue Ryder staff and perhaps somewhere to go at the end of their or their loved one’s life. Any donation, no matter how small is much appreciated.
