Support PF Counselling

The PF Counselling Service is a safe and hopeful place, for people who have found that life has become overwhelming and challenging. At PF, they believe in the transformative power of counselling, enabling people to embrace life more fully through the growth, changes, and healing that can take place through the counselling process.

Why This Cause Matters to Me:

This journey is deeply personal to me. I spent four years as a volunteer counsellor for the PF, and I've witnessed first-hand the incredible impact that counselling and psychotherapy can have on individuals and communities. In my early adulthood, I faced my own set of challenges, and it was the kind of support that PF offers that helped me find my way. I wouldn't be where I am today without similar guidance.

I particularly want to support the PF because they commit to providing this service to all adults, regardless of their ability to pay, with clients contributing only what they can afford. I believe that mental health support should be accessible to all.

The Challenge - Walking the West Highland Way for PF:

I, along with a group of walking buddies, are embarking on a pretty formidable challenge to support PF. We've chosen to trek the West Highland Way, a journey known for its unique landscape, from the towering peaks of Glen Coe valley to the lush shores of Loch Lomond, and the wild emptiness of Rannoch Moor. This trek covers a staggering 96 miles, with a total ascent of over 4000, making it one of the most challenging long-distance walks in the UK. No walk in the park.

Your Support Matters:

By donating to this cause, you're not only supporting our trek but also contributing to the vital services PF provides. Your generosity ensures that we can keep the PF helping those who need it, providing a safe space for healing, growth, and change.

When you donate to PF and support our West Highland Way trek, you're helping individuals find the strength to face life's challenges, heal from past traumas, and build brighter futures. Your support allows us to offer a lifeline to those who need it most.
