You know when time just flies because you’re having fun and then…, bam before you know it you are 60 and you can’t quite believe how you got there?

Well that’s how I feel, I’m always busy, working, helping out my Mum, studying, doing charity work and spending time with friends and then I’m suddenly sorting out pensions and looking round care homes for Mum. It all feels a bit too serious!

That’s why I’m having a big 60th birthday bash and catching up with special people who have made my time on this earth so extraordinary.

The small part which was my cancer journey led me to my latest charity work which is Yes to Life, a UK charity that assists people finding alternative specialists and therapies and supports people living with cancer and Oxygen Therapy Centre Jersey, a charity that provides an alternative therapy for many conditions including cancer.

As Treasurer, I’m raising funds for OTC as we really need your help in expanding this service to help more people recover and manage long term health conditions. Any birthday gifts in aid of OTC would be very welcome and I thank you for any contribution you make.
