On the 7th September 2025, me and my twin sister Dawn are running the Great North Run half marathon to raise funds for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

The Lingen Davies charity is close to our hearts as our Mum received treatment at the cancer unit in Shrewsbury during 2024 after being diagnosed with Non-hodgkins lymphoma. We have other close friends and family who have also been treated here. The care and support they all received whilst undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy was amazing, so we want to give something back and help save other lives.

The money you donate will go towards helping people before, during and after a cancer diagnosis in Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales.

* £10 or £20 will fund a holistic therapy session which delivers exponential wellbeing benefits to those living with and beyond cancer.
