I'm doing something I love, for my 50th birthday with a fundraising twist for BBC Children in Need.

I'm going to be doing 24hrs of karate!

Hello, I’m Deborah, and I joined the adult classes at Adrenaline Martial Arts Cambridge 2yrs ago. In November I’m going to be 50 and to mark the occasion I wanted to do something different that I would never forget, so I have chosen to raise money for Children In Need by taking on the challenge of practising Sports and Shotokan karate for 24hrs.

Thanks to the support of Kyoshi Lee who is letting me use his dojo and thanks to all the other Adrenaline Sensei who will be taking it in turns to train me I will be in the Cambridge Dojo kicking, punching, blocking and sparring for 24hrs.

The challenge starts November 14th at 7pm, ending at 7pm on the 15th.

With your generosity I am hoping to raise at least £2,500.
