Deborah Phillips is raising money for Berkshire Historic Churches Trust

Cycle · 13 September 2025

The BHCT raises funds to help with the cost of repairs of Christian churches in Berkshire. The Trust is supported entirely by subscriptions, donations and legacies - and the proceeds of Ride+Stride, our annual fundraiser which takes place in September each year - www.berkschurchestrust.org.uk

Story

This coincides with St. James' annual "Gift Day", Produce Stall and Coffee Pot all in church same day 09.00 til 13.00 hrs, also raising funds for St. James' latest maintenance project. Half of the sponsorship for our Ride + Stride cycle along the Lambourn Valley will go to St. James' & half to RCBT. - The Royal County of Berkshire Churches Trust was set up in 1984. Its objective is to raise funds to help with the cost of repairs to the fabric of Christian churches in Berkshire of any denomination belonging to or associated with “Churches together in England”. Their aim is to encourage churches to make use of their buildings for the benefit of the community at large where possible, and Ride+Stride is their major fund-raising event of the year.
