In 2014, my life changed dramatically when I suffered a major stroke, leaving me paralysed on my left side and with partial sight. Despite these challenges, I have found strength and purpose in supporting my community. Last year, I took on the exhilarating challenge of going over the top of the O2 stadium to raise awareness and support for the Haverhill Foodbank. My son, who is just 14 years old, also dedicates his time volunteering in their warehouse, embodying the spirit of giving back.

This year, I am excited to announce that I will be participating in a supercar race on October 22, 2025. With the help of a specially trained driver who assists disabled and blind drivers, I will attempt to race a McLaren and an Audi R8 around a racetrack. This personal challenge is not just about speed; it’s about proving that limitations can be overcome and that hope can be revived.

I am raising funds for Reach Community Projects because they are dedicated to restoring dignity and reviving hope for those facing financial crises. We believe that everyone deserves to live their lives to the fullest. Unfortunately, many individuals and families are trapped in cycles of debt, low income, and homelessness—issues that can lead to mental health struggles and low self-esteem.
