Story
A very close friend of mine was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Witnessing how much it’s changed her life - not just for her, but for her whole family - has been hard to watch.
Thanks to the support of the people she has around her she’s been able to stay strong and manage her symptoms well; however, it’s something you can never really prepare for, and it’s made me realise how fragile and precious our health truly is.
I’m incredibly fortunate to be fit and healthy, so I’ve decided to put that health to good use - to challenge myself, to train hard, and to run my first ever half marathon to raise money for people affected by multiple sclerosis.
I’m fundraising for the MS Trust, a UK charity that brings together expertise from every angle to help people feel more in control of their MS.
Through trusted information, compassionate support, the training of new MS healthcare professionals, and research rooted in real experience, they’re there for every person with MS, every step of the way.
Every pound raised goes towards helping someone find strength, knowledge, and hope when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support - it truly means the world.
