MindWise is a leading membership based mental health charity in Northern Ireland. We have been working with and for people of all ages directly affected by mental health issues as well as families, carers, employers and teachers for over 50 years.

Story

So many families are touched by suicide and mental health issues.  In July 2023 we lost a good friend, Stephen (Stevie) Robb, to suicide.     To remember Stevie we wanted to take the opportunity to raise awareness about mental health within our own communities and at the same time raise funds for a worthy charity.  We have chosen Mindwise, a charity that provides valuable services supporting and empowering people affected by Mental Health issues to live their best life.  Mindwise works with, and for people of all ages directly affected by mental health issues as well as families, carers, employers and teachers.Stevie was a regular at indoor football, seldom missing the Tuesday night game over the last 20 years.  Therefore, in memory of Stevie, we thought it fitting to hold an indoor football tournament in Dunloy Sports Academy on Friday 29th December as part of our efforts to raise awareness.  The tournament will bring children, from school years’ 8 to 12, together for a bit of fun whilst taking the opportunity to share an important message. If you would like to support this worthwhile charity, your donation no matter how big or how small will be greatly appreciated.
