Story
On the 21st August I will be taking on something BOLD, DARING and a little bit CRAZY!!
I will be taking to the skies and taking part in a WING WALK!
The plane will fly between 100ft and 700ft at speeds of up to 110mph, all whilst I am strapped to the top! I am certainly going to be taking a "walk" on the wild side, but for an extremely important cause:
I am supporting Lianne, who will also be taking on this challenge in aid of this amazing charity. Lianne sadly lost her beautiful niece Heidi, and Bluebell Wood were an incredible support to her family during such a difficult time. Without fundraising, Bluebell Wood would not be able to provide support to families when they need it most.
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, they care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support hundreds of families, both in the hospice and in family homes.
Their support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much more.
It costs around £6.5m each year to keep supporting families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising so please donate to keep this vital service running.
Thanks for your kind donations.
