Story
Throughout March, I will be completing 10km every single day to raise awareness and funds for endometriosis — a condition that has changed our lives in ways we never imagined. This may be running, cycling or walking.
Endometriosis is a chronic and often debilitating condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere in the body. It causes severe pain, fatigue, organ complications, and infertility. Despite affecting millions of women worldwide, it is still widely misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and underfunded.
For us, endometriosis has been a long, tough journey. It has meant years of pain — pain that was dismissed, normalised, or misunderstood. It has meant surgery, hospital visits, and learning to live with a body that sometimes feels like it’s working against you. It has meant facing infertility and most devastatingly, it has meant experiencing baby loss — something no family should have to go through.
Endometriosis is not “just bad periods.” It is a whole-body, life-altering disease that impacts physical health, mental wellbeing and careers.
This challenge is about more than just distance. It’s about raising awareness. It’s about supporting research. It’s about helping others feel less alone. It’s about fighting for earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
If you can donate, share, or support in any way, it would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping us turn pain into purpose 💛💛💛
