Story
I’m running the 2026 BMW Berlin Marathon for Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of my dad Sean Forde. He was a runner and running was something he used to help maintain his independence for a long time into the late stages of his disease. He died on the 2nd of July 2026. The Berlin Marathon was something we'd hope to run together at some point.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated, and I hope to see some friends and family there on the day. I’ll post my predicted times and position closer to the date.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity.
They are striving for a cure by revolutionising the way dementia is treated, diagnosed, and prevented.
With your support, they will keep going until every person is free from the heartbreak of dementia.
Thank you for supporting me as I run 26.2 miles for a cure.
