HopeFull has been out supporting Ukrainian nationals ever since the start of the conflict. To begin with at the Polish border, and then as time has gone on both from a westerly base in Lviv and in the East up to 30km from the front line, where there is little, if any foreign aid or NGO support.

Almost every day of the year they are out serving up to 5,000 pizza's a day to communities who are subject to the fallout from the war.

For just £1, HopeFull can offer a slice of hope and pizza to someone in need. But the demand is huge, and support is needed to help keep up. (Quick calc, up to £5,000 a day).

My plan is to head out to Ukraine in 2025 for a couple of weeks to help with their cooking and distribution efforts and I would really love to be able to raise some much-needed funds before I go.

So why Ukraine? I have heard so many tales of incredible courage from ordinary people, have had the pleasure of meeting some of them and I have been thinking since the start of the war what more could I, personally, practically do to help. When I heard about this from a speaker I work with, it seemed like the right thing, to go spread some joy, hope and hugs to show that we have not forgotten about these people fighting for their home.

In order to put a personal challenge into this, I have signed up to the 15km London West Tough Mudder obstacle course in May 2025. (Preview of obstacles here) Given that I have only run 10km previously, this is a step up...
