It's a Knockout · 11 May 2024 ·

We care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. Our goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for our patients and their loved ones in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment.

Story

As most of you will know my Mother in Law Caroline was admitted to St Andrew’s Hospice on Wednesday 31st January 2024. William and I have decided to take part in ‘it’s a knockout’ charity event to help raise funds for St. Andrew’s hospice in May! We are part of the Lucky10 team with 10 members all raising money for the hospice and taking part in the event.

At first as a family we were a bit unsure of what to expect but to see the relief and smile on Caroline's face we knew she had made the right decision.

St Andrew’s Hospice has made Caroline feel at home and are offering her support, care, kindness, and helping her achieve her goals of walking, being comfortable and eventually making it home.

All of their services are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. They care for up to 120 patients each week across all of the services and are only funded partially by NHS Lanarkshire and also by fundraising.

Any donations for a fantastic charity would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
