Story
We are a dedicated team of therapists participating in the "Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge 2026" on May 2nd, 2026, walking a challenging 50K loop to support a cause that is close to our hearts. Our mission is to give back to the Lymington Hospital Friends, who have generously provided Deerleap ward with essential rehabilitation equipment such as the Motomed and walking hoist, which are vital for stroke recovery.
Stroke affects countless individuals and their families, and the Lymington Hospital Friends charity plays a crucial role in supporting the hospital's ability to deliver an expanding range of health, wellbeing, and care services for local people. This charity goes above and beyond what is provided by the NHS, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. The organization is run by a voluntary Board of Trustees and many dedicated volunteers who selflessly give their time to support this important cause.
We invite you to join us in making a difference. Our target is to raise £300 to help continue this vital work. Your support will not only help us reach our goal but will also contribute directly to enhancing the lives of those affected by stroke in our community. Together, we can make an impact that resonates far beyond this event.
