We have a team from the Reading office competing in the upcoming Business Fives Reading, Corporate Charity Five-a-Side Football Tournament on Tuesday, 19th August at Goals Woodley. This tournament offers valuable networking opportunities with fellow professionals and colleagues alike, both on and off the pitch. Spectators are welcome to attend to cheer the team on and network with other companies taking part.

We are proud to support AbilityNet as Deloitte Reading’s charity partner and all the donations we fundraise before the event will go directly to them. AbilityNet helps bridge the digital divide by providing expert digital accessibility consultancy and support. They empower disabled individuals and older people to access and benefit from technology through services like assistive tech assessments, community outreach, and digital skills training.

We are hoping to fundraise as much as possible for our chosen charity before the event, with prizes on offer for the top fundraisers at the trophy presentation. The winning company on the pitch will also decide the destination of the Business Fives charity donation of 10% of the total proceeds of the event.

Our office charity partnership forms part of Deloitte's Social Impact programme where we are focused on building better futures for all concentrating on three key areas where we believe we can make a lasting difference: a digital world for everyone / more sustainable ways of doing business / a skilled workforce for the future.
