de Gruchy will be swapping till points for treadmills to collectively walk the full 26.2 miles of a marathon inside the store. The fundraising will take place on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd October to raise funds for our charity partner, FREEDA.

The treadmill will be placed under the escalator in the beauty department and colleagues will take turns walking until the full distance has been achieved. We would love customers to cheer us on and make any donation.

FREEDA’s Mission is to protect and empower women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, so they can take control of their lives, enabling them to live free from fear, as well as to engage with and support our Island community to prevent such abuse.

FREEDA was formerly known as Jersey Women’s Refuge.
