Having raised money in previous years in the fight to beat cancer, I am once again taking up the fight in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

Cancer has affected all of us, and I am no exception. I have lost both my father and father-in-law to this cruel disease, and other members of my family are battling cancer even now.

The loss of a dear friend who fought bravely against cancer at just 47 years old still weighs heavily on my heart. Recently, I was deeply saddened by the passing of a work colleague who put up a courageous fight but was taken by cancer at a relatively young age.

These experiences fuel my determination to make a difference. On February 23, 2025, I will be participating in the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run marathon, aiming to raise £500 for this vital cause.
