Are you ready to witness bravery, adrenaline, and a touch of madness? This Saturday, 23rd August, five of our very own Deloitte Glasgow colleagues will be taking on the daring challenge of ZipSliding the Clyde – all in support of our incredible new charity partner, The Yard.

Picture this: a 100ft-high crane, a 1245ft-long zipline, and the stunning Glasgow Riverside Museum as the backdrop. Now imagine launching yourself off said crane, with nothing but a harness and sheer determination to keep you going. That’s exactly what our fearless five will be doing – risking life, limb, and dignity – to raise funds for The Yard.

For those unfamiliar, The Yard is a truly special organisation that creates safe, imaginative play spaces for disabled children and young people in Scotland. Their Glasgow centre is a haven of creativity, connection, and joy, offering everything from sensory rooms to inclusive play sessions, outreach programmes, and family support. Their work transforms lives, and we’re proud to support them as Deloitte Glasgow’s chosen charity partner from FY26 to FY28.

This is our first fundraiser for The Yard, and we want to make it a roaring success. So, let’s rally behind our brave colleagues and show them (and The Yard) just how generous and supportive the Glasgow office can be.
