Deloitte are getting involved in various activities this year to help raise funds for our 5 million futures charity partner, the Children's Centre.

First up on 22/23 June 2024 3 staff members David Becker, Alice Leadbeater-Terris and Ciaran Nye will be challenging themselves to take on the Island's gruelling and very hilly Parish Walk course, aiming to complete the full 85 mile walk within 24 hours to help raise funds for the Children's Centre.

In addition, will be entering 2 teams in the charity's golf day on 26 July 2024, with Laura O’Sullivan Spiers, Alice Leadbeater-Terris, Ed Osborne, Matt Fisher, Brandon Ware and guests swinging in to action.

We have been working with the Children's Centre (https://www.thechildrenscentre.org.im/) for several years now to help support its goal of turning difficult life experiences into brighter futures for children, teens & families on the Isle of Man.

This could be bullying and finding school hard, to being impacted by developmental disability, poverty, addiction, criminality or domestic abuse.

Their services directly address behavioural, learning or emotional wellbeing needs, which are often the result of these experiences. They help bridge the gap in statutory provision before the point of crisis.
