Dementia Friendly Petersfield is delighted to be taking part in the Beacon of Peace Walk again this year.

For people living with dementia, staying active, connected and socially engaged can make a real difference to living well. At Dementia Friendly Petersfield, we provide a welcoming and supportive community through a variety of groups and activities. We also organise an annual Dementia Festival for the whole of East Hampshire and help people find the information and support they need through the East Hampshire Directory.

Our aim is to support people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers, by creating opportunities to socialise, increasing awareness and providing helpful information and guidance.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to take part, which is why there is no charge to attend our sessions. This means people can come along as often as they are able, without worrying about the cost.

To continue offering this support, we rely on fundraising and the generosity of our local community. Every donation, whatever the amount, helps us to start new groups, develop and enhance the activities we already provide, and make sure that our local dementia community receives the support and opportunities they deserve.
