I’m taking part in the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge 100k walk to raise money for cancer research,

🔹 Why It Matters: Both my parents had been diagnosed with cancer.

In 2010 my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and spent a long time fighting the battle that thousands do everyday, we saw him fight extremely hard to beat his diagnosis but in 2012 he unfortunately lost his battle and gained his wings.

In 2021 my mum was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and we spent many months in and out of hospital watching our mum be stripped of many of the things she loved because of this, however we received the best news in 2022 that she was in remission.

I am so grateful to the research that goes into fighting cancer as my mum wouldn't be here today without it.

I would appreciate any donation big or small for a charity that aids vital research into an illness that affects so many people everyday.
