Story

Six friends—Jordan, Gareth, George, clyde , Kasey and Jack and a new ally Elizabeth an unlikely ally has been found in the jannisary cem a long the way we have picked up William sir shrub. The secret that we couldt tell anyone till the final week Henry west is part of the team

We have chosen to take on a challenge that is as demanding as it is meaningful: walking from Warwick Castle to Evesham Bell Tower dressed in full 13th-century armour.

This isn’t just about the spectacle—though the image of six modern-day “knights” crossing the countryside certainly turns heads. It’s about making people stop, look, and ask why. Because behind the steel, the weight, and the miles is a cause that truly matters.

They are raising money for a special needs school that provides vital support for children who face challenges many of us will never fully understand. These children may struggle with communication, mobility, sensory processing, or learning differences—but what they all share is potential. With the right environment, specialist equipment, and dedicated support, they can grow in confidence, develop independence, and experience the world in ways that work for them.

However, that level of care requires resources—resources that are often limited.

That’s where this challenge comes in.

Walking miles in full medieval armour is not easy. The weight is unforgiving, the movement restricted, and every step demands extra effort. But in many ways, that struggle reflects the daily challenges faced by the children the school supports. Tasks that seem simple to others can require immense effort, resilience, and determination.

By taking on this physically demanding journey, the six friends are shining a light on those challenges—and showing solidarity in the only way they can: by pushing themselves beyond comfort.

Every step they take from Warwick Castle to Evesham Bell Tower is a step towards funding better facilities, specialist equipment, and opportunities that can make a real difference in these children’s lives.

This is more than a walk.

It’s a statement of support.

A symbol of resilience.

And a call for others to get involved.

Because while a group of friends can start the journey, it takes a community to truly make an impact.
