Story
I’ve joined the Sing for Life choir to help raise funds for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice at a concert at The Cresset, Peterborough on Friday 10 November. We are mostly strangers to each other but are fast making new friends in the choir. Some have experience of choral singing, some have never sung in public; some can read music, others can’t. What we all share is a wish to raise as much money as possible for Thorpe Hall.
In my work as a funeral celebrant I have heard many stories of the superb care and kindness shown by Sue Ryder staff and volunteers in caring for people at the end of their lives. I’ve seen for myself the huge difference that care makes to families. Their gratitude to Sue Ryder is very moving and has been my motivation to join the choir and ‘do my bit’ for the charity. I’m aiming for £500 and would really value your support, whether by buying tickets for the concert or donating via my Just Giving page. Thank you
