💙 Walking for Emmie-Rose – Supporting Daddy’s With Angels
Our family has been through a lot of loss in recent years, and it’s shown us how important it is to spend more time together while we can. We wanted to turn that into something positive — a reason to get together, make memories, and help a cause close to our hearts.
For me, this challenge is in memory of my niece, Emmie-Rose, and in support of my brother. When he lost his daughter, Daddy’s With Angels were there for him in ways that made a huge difference.
There’s often not enough support for dads when they lose a child. The world expects men to be “strong” and keep going, but grief doesn’t work like that. Daddy’s With Angels offers understanding, compassion, and a safe space for fathers to share their feelings and get support.
Our first challenge as a family will be the Yorkshire Three Peaks — a 24-mile trek over Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in under 12 hours, climbing more than 5,000 feet in total. We’ll push ourselves physically and mentally, in memory of Emmie-Rose and all those we’ve lost.
Every donation, big or small, will help make sure no dad has to face that journey alone. Thank you for your support. 💙
