Story

We are proud to be braving Zipslide the Clyde on 31st August for Worldwide Cancer Research. We are playing our part to fund brand new discovery research projects into cancer. These projects could sow the seeds of the cancer cures and treatments of the future, taking us closer to a day when no life is cut short by cancer.

Clare: I am braving this as my mum Chiara has been fighting with ovarian cancer for almost two years now and she is still fighting. It has been such a journey for both of us, glad to say I am so amazed on how strong my mum is, she’s never stopped smiling and still being so positive. I am trying to be as much support as possible, holding her hand at every single step of this journey. Love you lots, mum.

Cancer sucks and I hope that with your help, myself and Denisa can raise as much as possible to help the research going, having less people having to suffer from this awful disease.

Denisa: I have made the decision to Zipslide the Clyde because of various reasons, one of them being someone I really care about battling cancer and being so so brave about it. I want to let her know that we love her and are very proud of her.

Statistically, either you or someone you know has a family member or a friend who is battling this horrible disease. Let's try to support them by funding research that will find a way to kick cancer's ass.
