In July 2025, a group of us have challenged ourselves to take on the Peak District Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. Our team is called ‘Be more Holly’ and we are walking in memory of our dear friend Holly Hartley who sadly lost her battle with cancer in July 2024. Holly spent her last few days being looked after by the amazing nurses at the MacMillan hospice in Sheffield and the care, love and support they gave to her and her family was wonderful - we therefore want to give something back to this charity. We have chosen the Peak District mighty hike as Hol grew up and lived in the Peak District all her life. Holly was always full of life and lived her life to the full at all times hence our team name as everyone could be more like Holly!

Our team is Denise Burgess, Alan Burgess, Alan Hartley, Catherine Osborne, Sally Boyd, Beth Pope and Sarah Knapton.
