In Memory of Johnny

On the 18th of December 2024, Johnny was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in Altnagelvin Hospital after suffering a severe COPD attack. Johnny had been bravely living with Multiple Myeloma and COPD, but sadly, on the 4th of January 2025, he passed away.

The care and support Johnny received during his time in ICU was incredible, and I want to give something back in his memory. I’m organising a motorbike run to raise money for Friends of Altnagelvin, a charity that supports families with loved ones in the hospital.

Every penny raised will go towards helping other families during some of their most difficult times.

The route will take us from Draperstown through Moneyneany, Park, Claudy, Limavady, McGilligan, Downhill, Coleraine, and finishing up in Portstewart. 🛣️

This run is in aid of Friends of Altnagelvin, a charity that provides vital support to families with loved ones in Altnagelvin Hospital. ❤️
