Story
As you know we were devastated to lose our wonderful Jon on 6th April this year to this cruel disease. Denise, Mollie, Nick, Eliza and many of Jon’s closest friends have chosen to walk 25k in his memory to raise money for Pancreatic cancer uk. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all the common cancers, with a 5 year survival of less than 7%! More than half of people diagnosed die within 3 months and survival rates have not improved for many years. This needs to change.
Anyone who knew Jon would know he just loved a bridge! so the Thames bridge challenge couldn’t be more appropriate and the walk takes place on what would have been our 28th wedding anniversary.
Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
