Denise's Fundraiser, In Memory of Patrick, for The Jericho Foundation

Denise Masih is raising money for The Jericho Foundation
In memory of Patrick Masih

I'm doing a 10 mile walk from the church we married in, to Patrick's resting place · 17 March 2026

We operate seven social enterprises to provide work opportunities and individualised support for people who face real and significant challenges in getting a job. These could include trauma, insufficient work experience, health & wellbeing needs, education barriers and communication challenges.

Story

On March 17th 2025, Patrick, my beautiful husband and Jackson's wonderful dad, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 55 years old. Thanks to our deep Christian faith, and the love and support of those around us, we are surviving the heartbreak of losing our Patty, who we still love as much as ever.

Patrick spent many years working as a senior manager for the Jericho charity in Birmingham. He had an incredibly giving heart and often said he was able to live out his Christian faith daily in the job he did. He served, encouraged, and brought humour and joy to everyone around him.

This walk I am undertaking in memory of our Patty, is to honour his life and never forget the huge part his work at Jericho played, in allowing him to serve others. The walk , in Northern Ireland, starts at the church where we married and ends at Patrick's resting place - a walk of 10 miles but encompassing almost 22 years of marriage and 19 years of fatherhood.

We would be so grateful if you could help us to support Jericho in Patrick's memory. Jericho is a wonderful charity, staffed by wonderful people, doing a wonderful work in helping those who need it most. So your support would be so appreciated.

Thank you for considering helping us to honour our wonderful Patty, and support a cause that was a huge part of his life. We appreciate you sincerely.
