Story
This November, I’m taking part in Miles for Kangaroos: Walk it, Wheel it – Your Way; an inclusive fundraising challenge supporting Kangaroos.
My challenge is to walk 2 miles EVERY day throughout November ~ because I won’t want to and I will have to make the time to do this! I am supporting this challenge as I want to move alongside as many of you, all in our own way. 💪🏻
There’s no set distance and no ‘right’ way to take part. Everyone chooses a challenge that works for them – whether that’s one mile, 10 miles, 50 miles or 100. We’ll all be clocking up our miles in our own way, while working towards one shared goal: raising vital funds for Kangaroos.
Kangaroos supports children, young people and adults with learning disabilities across Mid Sussex, providing clubs, activities, trips and family support that create opportunities for friendship, independence, fun and new experiences.
At the end of November, we’ll come together to celebrate everything we’ve achieved at the Starlight Lantern Parade in Haywards Heath on 28th November, finishing our individual challenges with one final walk together.
