Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
St Joseph's Ansdell and St Peter's Lytham have supported Trinity Hospice ever since it first opened 40 years ago. Today, our parishes launch our 2026 joint appeal to raise funds for both Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice. We are using 'Just Giving' as our primary means of accepting individual, online donations - large or small. Our Just Giving campaign will run throughout the month of February 2026.
We know that not all of our parishioners are familiar with or confident of using technology. So we will be supplementing our appeal by taking collections after weekend masses at both churches on the weekends of 7/8 and 14/15 February 2026.
It costs approximately £14 million to run all of Trinity’s services each year, which are provided completely free of charge to everyone who needs them. But with only 27% of costs expected to be covered in 2026/27 by Central Government, Trinity and Brian House must continue to call on its community on the Fylde Coast– the people it cares for – for support.
Hospices nationally have experienced severe financial difficulties in recent years and our local Hospices are no exception. The current economic situation adds to these real challenges, meaning that our support is needed today, more than ever before. Every penny counts!
All monies raised will go straight to Trinity and by 'Just Giving', taxpayers have the option of boosting the amount of their donation by adding Gift Aid to the value of their donations.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for Trinity itself.
On behalf of everyone at Trinity and Brian House hospices, thank you for your support
