Story

A Runner's Legacy, A Son's Mission

The gift of running is something I inherited from my father. He was an accomplished high school runner, and I have no doubt his genes are part of why I'm able to compete today.

But where his running journey was cut short by a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), mine has flourished. I often think about the runner he could have been, the marathons he might have run if his body hadn't been betrayed by this disease. He might have been the one chasing medals across the globe.

My dad isn't the reason I started running, but he is the entire reason I am dedicating this final, most significant race of my journey to the MS Society. I'm running the London Marathon to honor the runner he was, and to fight for a future where no one's potential is stolen by MS.

The Challenge: Pushing the Limits for a Final Star

This race is the culmination of a global journey. After dedicating years to completing marathons in Tokyo, Boston, Berlin, Chicago, and New York, London is my sixth and final star in the Abbott World Marathon Majors series.

I've been fortunate to run competitive times, often finishing in the top 5% for my age group. For this final race, I'm pushing my limits—channeling every bit of this gift my father gave me to make this run count for more than just a medal.

Our Mission: A World Without MS

This is where our shared effort can make a real difference. Your donation will directly support the MS Society as they work to:

• Stop MS by investing in world-class, ground-breaking research.

• Support Families through their incredible MS Helpline and local support networks.

• Campaign for Better Care and a fairer system for the entire MS community.

Every single dollar (or pound) you donate will fuel research for a cure and provide critical support to families like mine who live with the daily realities of MS. Please, join my team by making a donation today.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Let's make this final star shine the brightest.
