Thank you for visiting this page in memory of Dennis Robert Smith.

Dennis was a huge fan of dogs and in particular border collies. His own collie Bob was his soulmate. Maybe he is reunited with him now, let's hope so.

We, Dennis's family, can think of no better way of commemorating his life than raising money for this wonderful charity - Freedom of Spirit Trust for Border Collies.

We have visited the charity and met with Barbara and the team. The work they do with the dogs in their care is incredible. We know that Dennis would want us to support it and would prefer donations in his name to go to a small charity like this where they can make a real difference.

The fact that this charity is based in Bingley where Dennis grew up makes it all the more poignant.
