Tim's fundraiser for Lymphoma Action

Derbyshire Railway Trails Walk
I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2014. Ten years later, after chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant in 2018, I'm still here!
Lymphoma Action's support has been incredibly helpful to me over the last decade. They are the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. Their work helps to drive improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma.
During September and October 2024, I'm intending to section hike (and perhaps cycle) as many of the old railway trails in Derbyshire as possible. These include The Great Northern Greenway, Monsal Trail, High Peak Trail and Manifold Track. At the moment I'm not sure how many walks I'll manage (I have at least 7 planned), the distance I'm likely to cover or how many calories I'll burn, but it will be a lot. Hopefully!
I will be documenting progress on my blog, including the planning stage this summer before I head off into the wilds of Derbyshire.

Thank you for supporting me and Lymphoma Action!
