My partner of 30+ yrs , Elaine, passed away on the 16th July. She was diagnosed with a very rare lung cancer (stage 4) in Feb’23 for which there was no cure and given 9mths to live. She obviously did much better than that and we had a chance to build new memories. Cancer affects 1 in 2 of us. Many cancers are increasingly treatable but still some remain not. I have decided to do LEJOG to raise a bit of money for research into these rare cancers. None of the money will be used to fund the trip: it will all go to cancer research. And given the stats it’s an investment in either your own future or that of someone close to you. Thank you 🙏
