In May 2023, we lost this great man ‘Papa Joe’ to dementia.

In June 2023, I had an operation that I hoped would allow me to run again. The operation was successful and I have been running issue free since.

Now to challenge myself (and my recovery🤞😂), I am taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 6 weeks time on 6th April 2025, and what better way to celebrate the life of my dad than by running it for a cause that actively help families whose lives are turned upside down by this cruel disease, the one that affected our family directly.
