The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA) is a patient organisation that aims to support patients and families living with lung fibrosis, to provide education for respiratory healthcare professionals, and to promote and fund research into lung fibrosis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association, in memory of Ciaran Coughlan. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a life limiting condition which is often degenerative. People in Ireland and particularly Irish men are at a higher risk of getting a Pulmonary Fibrosis diagnosis than our European neighbours. This condition doesn’t seem to have a high profile in Ireland and the aim of this fundraiser is to raise awareness and donate much needed funds to the association.
