Story

Like the last 2 years, I am again taking part in 'Ride London-Essex 100' on the 26th of May. The route is 100 miles of cycling starting on Victoria Embankment in central London, and takes me through rural Essex and ends 100 miles later on Tower bridge.

I am doing this in aid of Town Break UK, who are a charity very close to our family's heart. Town Break provides vital support to people living with dementia and their unpaid carers; using the skills of trained, supportive and committed staff and volunteers. They liaise with other agencies, both statutory and voluntary, to help support people living with dementia in the Forth Valley wide area and have been doing so for over 20 years.

This year it’s a bit different! Town’s Break existence in Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire is at risk as vital council funding has been cut entirely. Please if you can donate as every penny count no matter how small the donation. In advance I sincerely thank you for your support.
