Bliss Cavalier Rescue are a breed specific, foster based Cavalier King Charles Rescue based in England covering all of the UK

We are a registered charity in England, charity no. 1193078. Health, behavioural problems and changes in owners circumstances are the main reasons Cavaliers are surrendered into rescue. Our beautiful breed suffers with some terrible genetic diseases and illnesses and the rise in puppy farming and breeding without health testing has only increased the problem. We do not use kennels, only Cavalier experienced foster homes.

As a family we have two Kind Charles Cavaliers, these are the second pair we have had. We have attended a few of the local Cavalier `meet-up` events close to where we live in Norfolk and this is how we became aware of this very small charity. I fully appreciate that this page will reach out largely to any supporters who own, or have owned a King Charles Spaniel, but if that`s you, you`ll know what amazing little dogs they are!

We donate a small amount on a regular basis but doing this marathon I wanted to run and raise funds for a reason that is very `close to home` and I believe such a small and niche charity deserves all the support it can get.

If you are a Cavalier owner, past or present, dog lover of any breed or just want to improve the situation these dogs can find themselves in, in terms of their health or home situation....please consider supporting my efforts!

I am also raising funds for a local cancer charity in Norfolk, called Star Throwers, who have provided invaluable support to my wife in the last couple of years, due to the loss of her sister to cancer. I am linking my two Just-Giving pages together.
