We know that the volunteers also make a big difference to the Open Door. The Open Door Morningside is dear to our hearts which offers day care and respite for elderly in the community also giving their carers, often family members, some time to themselves. the staff and volunteers provide food companionship and share many laughs and stories with those in their care.

As well as entertainment and activities in the centre, outings are also organised for those supported by this excellent service.
