We are walking to support the 3 Pillars Project. The Edale Skyline is 22 miles, involving 7 peaks and a 1500m ascent. We will walk it in a day. The forecast is for endless rain and conditions underfoot are described as "wet" (including knee deep mud along the ridge).

The UK criminal justice system is under huge strain and struggles to be effective. 60% of young offenders released from custody will reoffend again within a year.

3Pillars is on a mission to break the dreadful cycle of reoffending. Its aim: to develop the most effective sports-based mentoring programme for individuals in custody and post-release.

Through the power of sport, particularly rugby, 3P empowers people to thrive beyond prison by building resilience, self-discipline, and a sense of belonging.
