Story
In September 2026, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run to raise money for Samaritans, a charity that means so much to me. I lost my mum to suicide in 2019, and ever since, I’ve seen how vital the work of Samaritans is in offering a lifeline to those struggling to cope. Every call they answer can make a difference—sometimes even save a life. Running this race is my way of honouring my mum’s memory and helping ensure that anyone in crisis has someone to turn to, day or night. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards supporting their incredible work. Thank you for your support. 💚
