Open to all Primary school age children! Design a book cover for “The Egg Bandits”

“The Egg Bandits” by Ella Bacon

Eric, Einstein & Englebert are Easter eggs with a difference. When they were created in the Easter Bunny’s factory they didn’t quite come out as “Eggcellent” as they should have so didn’t make the “Basket”! They are now making it their ultimate goal to ruin Easter and ensure that no eggs make the basket which will mean Easter is cancelled and the Easter Bunny will be out of a job. I mean why should everyone else get all the fun? What they didn’t bet on was Ella! She’s also a Bad egg but she sees that their behaviour is wrong and with the help of her fellow bad egg Esme they must do everything they can to ensure that the children of the world still receive Easter eggs on Easter Day.

Will Ella & Esme be able to stop The Egg Bandits from being such Rotten Eggs and save Easter?

The Egg Bandits is a story of showing you don’t have to always be perfect to fit in!

What you need to do to enter:-

⭐️ Design a Book Cover for the above story on an A4 sheet of paper. This can be in colour or black or white. The choice is yours, it’s all about using your imagination!

⭐️ Write your Name, Age & Adults telephone Number on the back

⭐️ Hand your entry in at the library by 4pm on Friday 5th April 2024 along with your £1 entry fee.

⭐️ Winners will be announced at The Library’s Raffle Draw on Saturday 13th April.

This event has been thought up by Lechlade Library’s Mini Fundraiser Ella Bacon to give the children a task during the Easter Holidays and to raise more funds for the Refurbishment of the library

It would be lovely if the children of Lechlade and surrounding villages got involved. Entries can be made via post. Please contact Ella’s Mum for postal address to send your entries!
