As an adult leader with Scouts over the past nine years I’ve had the privilege of seeing hundreds of young people gain confidence, learn important skills and have incredible adventures.

I fully believe in the values of Scouting and that Scouting is an inclusive and diverse movement that is open to all young people. To this end, 1st Rhu opened two new sections at Parkands ASN school last year and have welcomed 17 new Cubs and Scouts into our group from Parklands. Through weekly meetings during the school term we work on badges, learn new skills and have a lot of fun. Our Parklands Scouts and Cubs are also able to join in with 1st Rhu group events outside of school which has been great. We’d like to be able to offer our Parklands Cubs and Scouts even more safely supported adventurous activities which is what I’m raising money for. With your help I’d love to be able to provide a variety of truly meaningful and inclusive experiences for our Parklands Cubs and Scouts.
