As part of our commitment to this cause, on the morning of Saturday November 1st crews from Devizes Fire Station are continuing a long-held tradition of walking from Melksham Fire Station back to Devizes, covering a distance of 8 miles that includes the challenging Caen Hill Locks. This will be done in full firefighting PPE while wearing breathing apparatus (BA), culminating at the market cross.

We invite you to join us in this important mission. Your generous donations will help us reach our target of £500, which will go directly towards supporting those who have dedicated their lives to protecting others. We will be collecting cash donations along the route in buckets, and every contribution counts. Together, we can make a difference for our fire family and ensure they receive the care they deserve.
