Devon Coast 2 Coast 2 Coast in 24hr!

Cycling 200 miles through Devon all in 24 hours with around 16 hours of cycling time! All to help raise vital funds for North Devon Hospice which do so much unseen amazing work for our community.

The Devon Coast to Coast is a tough long-distance route on the UK National Cycle Network, running from the team’s hometown of Ilfracombe to Plymouth. Adam & Scott have not only decided to take on the challenge of the infamous Devon Coast to Coast 100-mile cycle route but are aiming to do it there and back in 24 hours. All in aid of raising funds for the North Devon Hospice having already purchased their tickets for the Kilimanjaro expedition (due to leave in February 2027). Please note they will not be on e-bikes. The route:

Starting from Ilfracombe’s Verity, the team will join on the old railway line called the Tarka Trail, which will take them along the Taw estuary past Barnstaple, Bideford, and then onto Great Torrington.

Next, they will head further south to Okehampton on quiet roads. The route from there to Lydford is known as the Granite Way. This part of the route is predominantly uphill and 11 miles long! Eventually coming to Tavistock.

Between Tavistock and Plymouth, the Devon Coast to Coast route is known as the Drake's Trail. The trail climbs up past Horrabridge and onto Yelverton and then downhill from this point along the old railway path towards Plymouth, completing the 100 miles on Plymouth Hoe after around 9 hours of cycling.

Only for them to turn around and do it all again!

In 2027, they've signed up and paid to take on one of the toughest challenges of our lives: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

At nearly 6,000 metres high, Kilimanjaro will push them far beyond their comfort zone — physically, mentally, and emotionally. They're not just doing this for the challenge, but to raise vital funds for North Devon Hospice, an incredible charity that supports people and families across our community during some of their most difficult moments.

North Devon Hospice provides specialist care, comfort, and emotional support to people living with life-limiting illness, helping them live as well as possible for as long as possible. Their work touches so many lives, and they rely heavily on fundraising and donations to continue offering this care.

Every step they take on the mountain will be for the patients, families, and loved ones who need the Hospice’s support. By donating, you’re helping turn this climb into something that makes a real difference here at home.
