Story
I'm walking the Nijmegen Marches in memory of my dad and to support all those living with psoriasis.
This July, I’ll be taking on the Nijmegen Four Days Marches. Nijmegen is a tough endurance walk covering 40km per day over four consecutive days. It’s will be a physical and mental challenge, but I’m doing it for a cause that means a lot to me: The Psoriasis Association.
My dad lived with severe psoriasis during the later part of his life. It wasn't just a skin condition; it had affected his confidence, his daily comfort, and most importantly his wellbeing. Despite everything, he faced it with an enormous amount of strength and resilience. Whilst he is now no longer with us, his courage however inspires me every step of the way.
Psoriasis is often misunderstood, but for millions, it is a daily battle. The Psoriasis Association provides vital support, raises awareness, and funds research into better treatments and hopefully a cure.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, your support will mean the world to me and to those still fighting this condition every day.
Thank you.
